Diagnosis: Thyroid Biopsy Referral Based on recommendations from friends, patient requested a referral to Dr. Pedersen. Referral was initiated by PCP and patient called 1 week later to verify clinic had indeed received the referral. No initial contact made with patient 4 weeks after referral was generated. Patient called clinic on Friday (8/25/23) expressing her concern as to why she had not yet been contacted to schedule an appointment. Received a call back on Monday (8/28/23) from an extremely nice young lady stating patient’s referral was denied as Dr. Pedersen was currently not accepting “Thyroid” patients. Absolutely fine. Referral denied. However, totally unacceptable that patient was not notified in a timely manner so a new referral could be generated to another specialist.

This office is terrible and I would not recommend any one to go here for services. Each appointment I had here has been unorganized and they are unsure which doctor you are supposed to see or what department. They will move you into multiple exam rooms and continuously come in asking which doctor you are supposed to see because they are so unorganized. The last appointment I had here the staff members were in the waiting area cussing and yelling at the supervisors/managers so it seems like they are also having internal issues as well. I knew then that would be my last time going there. They are also pulling scams when it comes to billing. I have been reaching out to them for the past 4 months about a billing issue and have not received a response yet. They also told me that I have a balance remaining from an appointment I have proof that I already paid for which was unrelated to the prior billing issue. Each time you call they will transfer you to a nonexistent billing department that never answers the phone and even when you leave a voicemail they will not return your call. I also have went in person multiple times to get this issue resolved due to not being able to get in contact with the billing department and the front desk staff states that they will relay the message to the billing department but I have yet to receive a follow up from anyone. Try to avoid this place at all cost.
