Today after my 4 year journey since moving here and trying to find a doctor to listen, invest in my symptoms & previous diagnosis with ACTUAL care (so hard to find these days) I finally found Dr. Bakhtiani (Dr.B) who has given me hope for life again just within this first visit. He was so informative, caring & committed to helping find solutions to my problems that I cried at the end of our visit. He is OUTSTANDING! You can tell he really has his heart and brain in this job, I am so glad to have found him.10/10

Dr Amanda was exceptional. She is so thorough! I never once felt rushed or like I wasn’t listened to. She answered every silly question of mine carefully and thoughtfully, she had a plan of action and was able to help me understand what everything meant. She was kind and patient and overall was so refreshing to experience a doctor who saw me as a person not just an overweight individual. I have hope, and that’s not something most people can accomplish giving to others. She’s in the right field and im grateful she was referred to me. Thank you! Of course this applies to the rest of the staff as well, very kind and friendly, and resolved any issues quickly too! Overall just an exceptional experience.

The care provided by my physician is excellent, however the office management is severely lacking. I have never heard of a doctor's office that, during regular business hours, has patient calls automatically diverted to an answering service. An answering service! According to the person I spoke with this is the offices standard operating procedure when call volume is considered high. Perhaps, call volume wouldn't be a problem if patients were allowed to make and manage appointments for themselves using MyChart. Rather than forcing us to call them. Every other Novant physicians office I have experienced encourages patients to utilize MyChart for these purposes. I haven't experienced "call volume" problems in these offices. In closing, I have one last concern. When I was finally transferred to this answering service, during regular office hours and two calls later, I told the operator I needed to make an appointment and asked why the doctors office was closed on a Thursday afternoon. I learned that the office isn't actually closed. Everyone is there, just busy and can't answer the phone. Not to worry someone will call me back soon. How soon? No idea. This bothered me, so I quickly pulled up the practice website. Hoping there was a notice to patients with an explanation or instructions indicating when we could expect a call. There was not. Instead, the practice website read "office closed". What. The operator just told me the staff and doctors were all there. Just busy. Again, during regular business hours on the official Novant website. It looks like either the operator or the office shared inaccurate information with the patients. In an emergency situation this mistake(?) could have potentially been problematic for someone seeking medical attention. There have been other issues. Getting a prescription called in to the pharmacy once took a month and repeated calls. Granted this was an outlier. It was typically only a couple of weeks and repeated calls. Yes, that was sarcasm. As I wrote this review I became frustrated and annoyed all over again. Enough. I do not recommend this practice. Maybe we should both look elsewhere.

My son Adam has been a patient at this practice since age 4 (2016). I absolutely love, appreciate and adore his Dr (Dr. Lisa Houchin). The staff is informative and attentive!

Dr Kashyap has been treating my osteoporosis for several years and I recently asked her to look into my thyroid issues. She is fantastic! She asked the right questions and explained everything in detail and I feel confident in my future treatment as needed.
