Edward J. Kryshak, MD
4055 Cascade Rd SE 2nd floor, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, USA
My primary doctor (at the time) referred me to Dr. Kryshak after having some blood work done and discovering I had low T. I saw Dr. Kryshak for approximately 10 years, starting when I was about 40. If you're a geriatric patient, he might be okay, as it appears that almost all of his patients are quite old. He seemed to have no interest in helping me get my numbers up to normal levels for my age, his only concern seemed to be keeping me from having male menopause symptoms, in my 40's! I was given very few options, either androgel or patches, no mention of injections. He seemed nice enough, as long as I didn't question his treatment plan. If I did my own research and brought him information or questioned things, he'd get rude. My primary doctor retired and I was assigned a new younger doctor. I approached him and asked about him injections. He did a little research and talked to some colleagues and I've been self administering injections for a number of years now. The difference has been huge. If you are a younger guy, do NOT see Dr. Kryshak for low T. You will not be getting the proper care for your age.
West Michigan Endocrine, PLC
5060 Cascade Rd SE Ste C1, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, USA
Dr. Collins and her PA Kara are great people and equally great healthcare providers too. I've never once felt rushed or judged by either of them. I've always had my concerns taken seriously and a plan laid out; they work together great if you see both. Phenomenonal communication between each other and with me. I've been to a decent number of doctors regarding thyroid problems and other concerns and they've been the best in the area, in my opinion. I've been with them since Dr. Collins opened her own practice and I've never regretted that decision.
