The staffing here is awful. We came for an appointment for my wife, thinking all is well since they had our insurance over the phone. They failed to mention the following previous to our arrival; 1: How much we could expect out of pocket and what it would cover. 2: They charge you a 3% surcharge if you use card. You would think if they’re surcharging they would acknowledge that when you set an appointment so you can opt in to bring cash. They have the prior amount for how much your appointment will be, since the cost doesn’t cover ANYTHING other than JUST your appointment according to the receptionist. I asked her, what does the $195 cover? Does it cover blood work, does it cover anything? She said oh no, that’s just the appointment. Please mention the amount due by arrival ahead of time because you can’t seriously expect anyone to just cough it up whenever they get there. I expected a fee within the $60 deductible range that I have, but nearly 200 and it just covers the appointment not anything else that’s done is outrageous to expect someone to have out of the blue with no prior mention.

I’ve given this practice multiple chances, but this was the third time I’ve had to wait over 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, despite always arriving on time. Each time, I’ve expressed that my time is valuable and that I won’t tolerate delays, but it seems the message hasn’t been taken seriously. As the owner of some of the top spas in Houston and with over 20 years in the hospitality industry, I understand the importance of professionalism and respecting clients’ time. In my businesses, if clients are late, their service is cut short or rescheduled to avoid inconveniencing others. There are no excuses—either the doctor is on time, or they are not. This consistent lack of punctuality reflects poorly on their professionalism. The idea that a doctor’s time is somehow more valuable than their patients’ is an outdated and disrespectful mindset that needs to change across the industry. Patients should not have to tolerate these delays. I’m an easygoing person, but this repeated disregard for my time—or anyone else’s—is unacceptable. I hope this feedback encourages the practice to adopt a more professional approach to scheduling and client care. Every patient deserves better.

My Doctor, Dr. Jangow Kim, Endocrinologist is detail oriented and a good follow up Physician. He made changes based on how you feel and lab results. Very happy with him. I highly recommend him.
