Sathya Subbiah, MD
200 Richmond Ave E, Mattoon, IL 61938, USA
If half a star was an option, I’d choose it. My mother has a recurring tumor on her pituitary gland so she needs an Endo to help with hormones, adrenal function, etc. We saw Dr. Subbiah once in person and then had a phone meeting with her after the tumor was removed a second time. On the phone call she didn’t want to discuss any meds or ask how mom was feeling. She didn’t even listen to anything we had to say, much less answer any questions. She said she didn’t want to be involved in mom’s care anymore (after one visit in person and 5 minutes on the phone). She said we need to work with her neurosurgeon or cardiologist. I told her they are the ones who sent mom to an Endo! Hormones and all of this is what an Enso should be doing! The blood work she ordered only checked thyroid, kidneys and potassium. So we are on to find another Endo who will actually listen and help find the problem.
