Mario Andres Bustos Rodriguez, M.D.
6160 S Yale Ave Second Floor, Tulsa, OK 74136, USA
I’ve had 4 endocrinologists in my 10 years of diabetes. Dr. Bustos for 3 and he has been amazing in every way. A1C went from a 7.2 to 5.5! My diabetes is managed so well thanks to him. So knowledgeable and as long as you put in the work he gets you on the right path. Extremely grateful for him and his staff. His CA Digene is exceptional also. Couldn’t recommend them more!
Warren Clinic Endocrinology
6160 S Yale Ave Second Floor, Tulsa, OK 74136, USA
I called asking if Dr. Thomas was seeing new patients, and was told by Vicki "only if you have community care insurance" I said no we are self pay ,and she said they only accept community care insurance. After noticing a lot of the endocrinology doctors are there at warren clinic, I called back. I asked if any of those doctors will take a self pay patient. She said no only if you have community care insurance. So then I went one step further and asked if I had a referral from my primary if I could be seen, she said "no only if you have community care insurance" This is discrimination at its finest. I would have never thought I would be denied care because I don't have insurance. I don't need insurance at this point in my life. Insurance is OPTIONAL. Either its Warren Clinics policy or all 6 or 7 doctors got together and decided this. Maybe they aren't getting paid, and that's why they only want people with insurance. I would like to know who decided this terrible policy. Denial of care for lack of insurance is discriminatory. To me its terrible to turn someone away because of the way they are choosing to pay, and this office should be ashamed of itself. Atleast give someone a chance to be a patient and SELF PAY for their exam. There are a lot of use out there. 3 strike rule works well, or just don't see them again if they don't pay. This to me is unethical and has left an overall bitter taste in my mouth.
Steven Landgarten, M.D.
1245 S Utica Ave Suite 201, Tulsa, OK 74104, USA
If I could give him a 0 star I would. How could you deny a referral just based on one individual lab result that was normal, while the others were abnormally high, a list of symptoms, pervious abnormal labs, and a genetic history. Both of which are linked to the abnormal results. I have never had such rude treatment, especially after you “lost” my first referral , then my pcp had to send 2 more!
