I have been seen by Dr Chang for several years. She is an excellent physician who takes the health of her patients very seriously. She follows up with all procedures, tests and with other involved Doctors. I highly recommend Dr. Chang and trust her completely. BTW, her office staff is great, too!

Would give zero stars. Literally the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. She was rude, dismissive, and judgmental. She seemed to go into the visit with preconceived notions and didn't seem to be listening to me. She put words in my mouth that I never said...literally seconds after I had spoken. It was the strangest experience. I told her I was experiencing bothersome symptoms of a particular condition, but none of my labs came back showing that condition to be the case. She then accused me of claiming to have said condition when I had JUST stated that I knew that I didn't. Was she even listening? She then said "this is why I like to do video calls...so I can see with my own eyes if you're really experiencing the symptoms you're claiming to have." I was baffled because I had JUST explained that I get cosmetic procedures done to battle those bothersome symptoms. Not only that, but I requested my medical records and saw that she lied in the notes. She claimed that I said things that are not true...little things that I have never said/done in my life. Complete fabrications...almost like she wasn't listening at all and filled in the gaps afterwards. It felt like this was all to get rid of me (I had requested this referral, so this is just another case of Kaiser doctors doing the bare minimum to "help" patients and save money). I would avoid her at all costs. Not a nice human, nonetheless a nice doctor.

Dr Lee is excellent. I have moved around and had several endocrinologists around the county. She listens, asks good questions, and has a great bedside manner. She responds to messages promptly and offers later appointments than many, which is helpful for those of us who work. I strongly recommend her.

I would give -1000 stars to the customer service. Horrible experience, absolutely unacceptable. Over the last 24 months, this practice canceled my appointments twice without ever calling back to reschedule. Eighter the doctor was sick or doctors resigned at the last minute. Things happen and I accepted it as unforeseen circumstances. Finally, my physician scheduled an appointment for me. Three minutes past the appointment, I received a call from the receptionist, Laly discarding "You had an appointment at noon". I was 4 minutes away and I explained that I was coming to the appointment. There was construction work in Greenbrae and I ended up arriving 8 minutes late instead of 4 minutes. She immediately accused me "You said you'll be here in 4 minutes and now it's 8 minutes", we need to reschedule your appointment". I explained the circumstances of being 8 minutes late. She still insisted on rescheduling though I was in time for the grace period, within 10 minutes of my appointment. I requested to speak with the Office Manager. The Office Manager was not available, but I was offered to speak to the medical assistant, Julianna. After waiting for Julianna for 6 minutes finishing with another patient, I heard Laly telling Julianna about her plan to reschedule me. After that, Juliana explained to me that my appointment was just before lunch time and that's why the doctor could not see me. I am still wondering what type of appointment would be if arrived in time, less than 8 minutes? After coming back to work, I received another call from the MarinHealth scheduling department asking if I wanted to keep an appointment that was already rescheduled. I hope the manager of this practice will take appropriate steps to train front desk people to improve their customer service skills. Unfortunately, I have not had an opportunity to meet with a doctor yet but my first impression about this practice is super negative and disappointing.

I can't praise this office enough! After nearly a decade of misdiagnosis by Kaiser, Joseph Karpel correctly identified my father's condition as type 1 diabetes within just a couple of visits. Joe not only goes above and beyond for his patients but also demonstrates exceptional compassion and patience during every appointment. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, and the office is consistently clean and inviting. Joe's deep knowledge, analytical approach, and thorough explanations make this office a beacon of informed consent. They present all treatment options clearly and comprehensively. Joe's expertise quite literally saved my father's life, and our family will forever be grateful to him!
